"you look pale"

"I think that's just the art style"

XDDDDDDDDD

This was cute.

(+1)

This was adorable!

The jokes made me laugh so much.
Although, I must admit, I feel a little guilty that we decided to feed our boyfriend garlic to test his vampirism xD

I'll definitely have to check out your other VNs sometime!

(+2)

Aw that was so sweet and funny!

(+2)

on my first playthrough his sprite got all pixelated and the game crashed (i got an error screen showing the code) and there's also some spelling mistakes but this is still super good! really charming.

(+2)

Thank you for your feedback. For better performance I would recommend using the downloaded version rather than the browser one. (Please don't look at my bad code 😭) I'd be curious what the spelling mistakes you noticed were?

(+2)

I loved this! It was absolutely adorable.  I love the art style to pieces. 10/10.

(+1)

Thank you, that is very kind to say. It was fun trying to limit myself with the colour palette this time.

(+2)

This was so cute, simple, yet so cute 🥺 🥰 I love all of the expressions he make, XD cutie

(+1)

Thank you, glad you liked him. There was a point which I regretted making so many expressions as the vampire/non-vampire split means it practically doubled the sprites, but I am glad I stuck it out.

Short and sweet. Nothing more, nothing less. A fun little VN. (Extra point's for canonicly making this a BL, I have a soft spot for those.)

(+5)(-2)

Thank you for your kind words! I wanted to make sure it was clearly BL but I did actually find it a bit hard to do with only one character, so glad it was still clear.

I really enjoy it when people are tested to make something under certain restrictive circumstances such as a text game with under 1000 words because projects this impressive are able to be made!
The artstyle is the perfect mix in styles between simplistic yet unique and strangely captivating in how much it can pull off with the use of only three colors, not to mention the artstyle of the character is both incredible as well as very visually pleasing.
Sometimes I notice a creator try to fit a deep, lore-filled story under restrictive circumstances, and while it usually comes out really good, it's super refreshing and satisfying to see a game made not to work against the word limit, but rather flow along with it to make a short, very enjoyable story.

It was really fun and interesting to both record and play this game, it had the perfect premise to capitalize on and it did so without feeling as if it dragged on or cut off too short.
I'm excited to see if you have or plan any other games or projects either under further circumstances or with unbound creativity and scale in the future! ^^

Thank you! I feel like you really got what I wanted to make with this game. Who needs extravagant lore and world building when you can just put two idiots in a room together.

I enjoyed your super energetic Let's Play and I'd recommend anyone reading this to check it out!

There were times when I was making this game that I did consider stopping (I know it was only 10 days...), but after receiving so much lovely feedback I definitely plan to do O2A2 next year, as well as making other games before then!

Have you seen Netherbeast, inc? there's a scene where the CEO is having a discussion with another employee, and there's a dead guy with a steak through his heart.

The employee finally asks what's up.

well Mike was a vampire.

how do you know?

well he had blood on his shirt... you'll have to trust me (points at huge blood splatter from stake).

and the employee grows increasingly incredulous at each of the answers

"well he died when i drove a stake through his heart" so would anyone.

"well he never left the office." neither do you.
"well he recoiled when i shoved a cruxifix in his face" he was jewish

did you try silver bullets? "that only works on werewolves" and then the CEO cocks a gun and says he needs to see accounting.

same energy. well done. i like how it was simple, clean. with plenty of jokes.

What a charming lil' fella, him and the MC truly share one brain-cell I LOVE THEMMM! The sprite is so pretty too! I love how the speech bubble reflected their emotions.

fangtastic/10. Was a pleasure to sink my teeth into. Quite the grave situation he finds himself in. Been dying to meet him. (so on and so forth) ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

(+4)

Thank you, you are really raising the stakes with your own vampire puns!

(+6)

AHHH THIS IS SO ADORABLE MY HEART!! The GUI is very stylish and the textbox variations are so cute! The comedic delivery, vampire puns, and 4th wall break were hilarious LOL. At first I felt bad because he was so not on board with the whole vampire thing, but MC’s reaction to it reassured me that they’ll be just fine hahah. Amazing work!

(+3)

Thank you! I really appreciate your words, especially from someone who made such a great O2A2 game themselves. In my head I just think now they have plenty of time to go camping together.

(+5)

It was a very cute game!

First of all, I really loved the art (sprite and background), the GUI (it really was BEAUTIFUL!!) and also THE MUSIC TRACK chosen, it gave everything a retro/old-school vibe which was really pleasing!

The story itself is quite wholesome and light-hearted. I appreciated the many puns spread throughout (I sincerely lost it at  "it's a pain in the neck"), and the conclusion was quite adorable, which is honestly quite unusual for vampire stories (the "eternal vs mortal lovers" trope is usually very tragic, so seeing MC's final comments about it were very cute!).

Congrats to the studio for this game!

(+3)

Thank you so much!!! It really means a lot from someone who has made so many lovely games themselves. It makes the time spent on the little things feel worth it, and yeah I've read a good number of vampire/human romances and wanted to keep it cheery.

(+6)

"i think thats the art style, its hard to tell" you ate with this line i fear. super cute short little game<3 aforementioned artstyle + the text boxes really added to it<3

(+1)

Wow, that's so kind of you. Your words mean a lot, I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you enjoyed my game! <3

(+4)

A creative, funny premise with a hilariously over the top execution, adorably sweet interactions between the main characters, a great aesthetic with the text boxes, colors, and art, and a hot boy to stare at to boot. What's not to love?

(Also, I really like how they come to the conclusion transylvanian bf turned into a vampire right after he mentions his lack of a reflection, but when they're thinking of ways to test the hypothesis they think exclusively about things that physically hurt vampires, instead of "let's stand in front of the same mirror" or something. They're like little kids putting their hand on a burning stove to see what happens.)

(+2)

Wow, thank you so much for your detailed comment and your kind words! Yeah the may not be the smartest, but at least now they have plenty of time to grow a few brain cells between them.

(+4)

Super funny and cute, it made me smile a lot and I loved the visuals 🦇

(+3)

Thanks, I tried to make sure I gave a lot of attention to the UI as O2A2 is so limited.

(+5)

Pretty cute and funny! I'm dead from all the vampire puns and jokes.

(+5)

Thank you! I admit the game did end up me seeing how many vampire references I can put in less than 1000 words.
